Voyage

Voyage is a set of 3 solo pieces for baroque instruments that explore female body image after major surgery. The work is inspired by Dora Williams’ artwork Triptych – a scarred series. 

Voyage 1 for baroque violin has been developed with violinist Lucy Russell.

The composing process is documented in this short film where Liz and Lucy co-muse the piece together. 


The second panel for solo theorbo is being composed in collaboration with lutenist Matthew Wadsworth and the third with baroque cellist Kate Bennett.
